Prerequisites

To join an AIDA instructor training course, you typically need:

  • AIDA 4 certification (or equivalent)

  • Solid freediving experience

  • Rescue and first aid certification (e.g. AIDA Rescue or equivalent)

  • Motivation to teach and share your knowledge

What you’ll learn

The AIDA instructor training program gives you the tools, knowledge and practice to teach freediving safely and effectively, including:

  • Teaching methodology and course structure

  • Safety, risk management and rescue skills
